This is a guided South African Safari hunt with Dubula Hunting Safaris

This is a (non disabled) hunt. Veteran must be physically fit and capable of walking long distances on un even terrain

 

Date: March TBA

Spots Available: 2 Purple Heart Veterans

Location: Eastern Cape, South Africa

Trip Length: 12 Days 

Details: You will depart from the Band of Heroes Outdoors headquarters located at 3029 Valley Road, Fishertown, PA 15539 and fly from Newark, NJ to Johannesburg, SA where you'll stay the night and depart on your last flight into Port Elizabeth, SA. From there you will drive to Dubula Hunting Safaris. Once you arrive at the lodge you will get unpacked, shoot your guns, and enjoy the rest of the day at the lodge. The following days will be your hunting days.

Whats Included:
Each vet gets two free animals from Dubula (springbuck, blesbok or warthog) two of the three and an impala from Band of Heroes. If you wish to hunt additional trophies they will be at your expense. All Flights, food, drinks, and lodging are all covered by Band of Heroes.

Gear to bring:

  • Hunting clothing

  • Light hunting jacket (Depending upon weather)

  • Rain Gear (Depending upon weather)

  • Drivers License 

  • Passport

  • Casual clothing

Your responsibilities:

  • Transportation to the Band of Heroes Outdoors Headquarters (3029 Valley Road, Fishertown, PA 15539)

  • If selected for this trip, upon arrival at BOHO headquarters, you must provide a proper valid ID and a copy of your DD214. If you will be meeting the BOHO members at the outfitters, proper valid ID and copy of DD214 must be provided at least 2 weeks prior to trip.

     

    If you're a Reserve/Guard member please provide valid ID and a copy of your DD256/NGB22.

Attendance Commitment:

If selected and you confirm attendance, you are expected to attend. We understand that life can be unpredictable; however, if unavoidable circumstances prevent you from joining us, you must notify Band of Heroes Outdoors immediately.

Please be aware that once tags, licenses, and travel arrangements are secured, these resources are allocated specifically to you and often cannot be recovered. Consequently, we cannot accommodate cancellations after these confirmations are finalized.

Policy: Any no-shows or cancellations will result in immediate ineligibility for all future events.
